@evilcookies98@mastodon.stickbear.me Chromecasts are all discontinued, you can't officially buy any of them. There was a security update for the ChromecastV2 and the Ultra in October but other than that they stopped receiving updates in 2023. The Chromecast with Google TV (both the 4K and 1080P versions) are on Android 14 with an October 2025 security patch. But the Streamer is on April 2026. So you can find one, but you'd be buying an EOL device. It's really too bad because my ChromecastV2 was an extremely good and reliable little unit. RIP.
