From Mount Vernon, NY to Rochester, NY, what we are seeing is true no matter where you are in this country: if you’re struggling with affordability, groceries, or just struggling to breathe, $500 or $1,000 is enough for a foundation to build upon. It’s enough money to buy some boots and bootstraps so that you can pull yourself up.
