Shoutout to whoever wrote the geo-restricted TV streaming app I tried to use tonight with a mullvad vpn IP address set to different US cities that blocked me from playback, but when I picked a Canadian IP, it all worked fine. Thanks for leaving the backdoor open, anonymous coder!

@mathowie@xoxo.zone Reminds me of the geo-restricted streaming app that refused to play even on vpn, even after giving it a street address for an account… and then started working when I set my AppleTV time zone to that location. It used the current time, not the location. 🤦🏻♂️
