@JigmeDatse@social.openpsychology.net @plaidtron3000@jorts.horse @bandywillow@mastoart.social FWIW regions that don't have any summer time, like Japan or most of Arizona, will see #Monsterdon starting at different local clock times depending on which part of the year it is. Regions that use summer time but on a different schedule than the US, like much of Europe, have an even more complicated time of it. But in most of the US it's simple: you just look at the clock. Always 6 PM on the west coast, always 9 PM on the east coast.

@diazona@techhub.social @JigmeDatse@social.openpsychology.net @plaidtron3000@jorts.horse @bandywillow@mastoart.social This is going to be an issue for #ReMonsterdon in the autumn - I'm in Mexico, which doesn't change time - it's related (unofficially) to #Monsterdon, which does change time, on US dates - a large part of the impetus was to give a Monsterdon-like chance to people in: - Europe, which changes time but on different dates to the US & Canada - Africa, which doesn't change time 🤔 I'll probably put it to a poll & let the community decide what to do
