Talked with my pharmacist today while getting 1/2 of my shingles vaccine about my father having shingles in the 80s and how awful it was for him. She relayed that her parents were hesitant to get it and I sympathized. It’s getting harder for people to trust things but HOLY COW! You do NOT want shingles.

@seanwbruno@infosec.exchange Absolutely. My mom had it...twice...and I had it 17 years ago; it was pure misery. I will do whatever I can to keep from having it again.

Medium level immunity response made me feel like 💩for about 48 hours. Should have remembered to get it on a Friday so I could just lay in bed and watch crappy sci-fi
