@Nonya_Bidniss@infosec.exchange I’ve never taken it, but I’ve known people who have. Everyone who took it did so for Giardia. My sense of it all was along the lines of, “Giardia was really bad. And then I had to take Flagyl!”
I’ve always thought Flagyl was just for parasite infections, but I don’t know anything.

@johnlehet@mas.to It's also used for dental infections. I was surprised when I learned it was also used for parasites. So yeah this is a pretty drastic drug. The first dose did all this to me (see thread) and I'm not going to continue with it.
