They actually listened to all the criticisms of the last one and … fixed them? Hey wow. What I’m dying to find is anything that doesn’t have the 2020s disease of “wide hips” — the windows are narrower than the wheelbase, for no reason. Not just hatchbacks but everything (barring Tesla, but their designs are 2010s). I just don’t understand the benefit of having harder parking and drive-thru experiences, when getting no more shoulder room inside, and no more luggage capacity. (The 2018 Golf series is still the benchmark). It feels like form over function.
