What are you talking about? Fedi infra is super cheap, a server can run on basically any computing device. The network has 30000 servers today and it can easily scale to millions.

@silverpill@mitra.social I suggest you run a benchmark against any given nostr relay. But yeah, sure. If everyone runs a single user GTS (tech savy). or maybe your software, I will try it sometime! Ever tried to run a mastodon for +20 people on a raspberrypi? (rich from any other perspective then westener) but you could always fall back on someone else's server and hope they never find you controverisal or are subdued to force you off, sure (well connected) @johnofrobotz@mastodon.girolab.foo
