Holy tool-less drive removal, Batman!
The drive was in there nice and solid, so I figured it was fastened in with screws.
Nah, just with this metal bracket that’s sitting in the drive’s screw holes.

Good news! The same locking bracket fits the smaller drive, and it fits nice and snug! Additionally, that second connector looks to go to a small board on the back that provides an RJ45 connector, possibly for firmware updates or drive maintenance of some kind. Shouldn’t be necessary for basic drive use. Next to hook it up and test!
