I've also been annoyed by how impossible it feels nowadays to find good wallpapers, because the internet is littered with AI generated ones.
So I started going through episodes of shows and taking screenshots of stills that can be used as wallpapers.
The collection is still very small, but it's been fun to do and it gives me a lot of material for some small edits I want to do :neobot_happy:

If anyone wants to do the same thing: Video players can often take screenshots right from the video. Has the benefit of not being affected by resolution differences, other things on screen, subtitles being shown, etc. I use IINA on macOS, but there's nothing special about it. VLC can also do it. mpv can do it. Probably more. And skipping frame by frame can often be your friend in the quest of finding that one frame in the intro that doesn't yet have text fading in :D
