@botteaap@androiddev.social Fair enough. However, I on the other hand, absolutely enjoy creating full working software I would never had time to do before. Solving problems on user level and solving real painpoints I have. To me the nail really doesn't matter as long as it provably works. I've spent 35 years writing code. And I don't want to go back to doing it. I want to solve real, human problems, not computer problems. So I don't think the metaphor is really different. Just a level of abstraction.

    @lehtimaeki@snapp.social I get that and I'm glad it's working for you. For me though it isn't really. I'm confronted with slop PRs and folks that can't explain what "they" did. I use AI to explain me code because there is no process to talk about what the thing should do. When I try AI to solve a problem it usually leads to a bunch of fluff that I need to extract the solution from. On the internet I'd read that I'm holding it wrong, that I made a mistake using the tech. I'm worried about the social aspects
