I just installed the latest update for Mastodon, and the process went much smoother on the new server. On the old VPS, I usually had to stop all mastodon processes before attempting the update because rebuilding the assets consumed all available resources, then crashed.
That no longer happens. I am a happy mastoadmin :mastogrin:

The new server is by no means a speed demon. It's one of those microcomputer things I bought from Amazon. The tech is at least ten years old. But it's still better than the old VPS.
