@jonobie@social.coop Thanks. Your insights are welcome. I probably won't direct anyone to mastodon.social until I stop hearing about their issues, but I have been quite happy on infosec.exchange, I have an alt on social.coop (they seem pretty great over there), and another couple of servers seem like good possibilities. I had a good experience for 2 or 3 years on c.im before coming to infosec.exchange, and that seemed OK, too.
