@rolle@mementomori.social I can't speak for anyone else, but my monitor's resolution is 5120x1440, so space isn't really a consideration for me. Other than that, I just find it easier to read the tab names when I need to and I feel that it's more natural to have my tabs on the left rather than up top. I'm not someone that has a ton of tabs open usually either, but definitely more than the 2 or 3 that you have. I'm also not someone that acts like tabs are bookmarks (I use Karakeep for that). I've got maybe 10-20 tabs open at the most.
