Hey everyone, My community got hit really fucking hard yesterday by a pretty devastating tornado. Don't worry about me; my house, my specific neighborhood didnt get hit all that bad. My sister and her neighborhood got literally destroyed; her house is still standing, she is safe and her cats too. Many people aren't as lucky. We don't know really what all the damage really is, how many people got hurt, if anyone has passed away from this. Yesterday different neighborhoods were blockaded by police because everything was all over the damn place. Nobody could go in or out. The power went out in many neighborhoods, some places have power but some still dont. In the neighborhood my sister lives in the water is undrinkable and without power you cant boil the water. That specific neighborhood doesn't know anything really what is going on from local government because the city and county is not getting the proper information to the people properly because the power is out and therefor internet and cell towers are not working well. I and my community will organize and mobilize a response to clean up and take care of our people. The organization I work with will be networking with the people and organizations out in the more devastated locations. I will look for some donation links for some mutual aid groups besides mine. If anyone wants to donate to my mutual aid network send me a dm and ill send the link to you. I will be very busy for the next however long this will take to recover. We will get through this. In solidarity, Stag #FoxValley #FoxCities #Neenah #Menasha #Appleton #Oshkosh #FondDuLac #Wisconsin #MutualAid
