I'm a lazy gardener, so I don't fancy doing all the "right" things with compost - turning, aeration, etc. I just pile it all up and leave it alone. Like my father did, and he was a keen gardener.

@jim_easterbrook@mstdn.social All I do is stick a metal pole in the heap wiggle it about to aerate it, and dump a bucket of water in if it looks dry. Once a year I take out the bottom rotted half and use the top half to start a new pile. It works for me.
