@hrbrmstr@mastodon.social While I remain an LLM skeptic, I appreciate the work that Google has done getting powerful models working on lower spec hardware. Open weight models are going to have limited impact (in both good and bad ways) as long as the compute resources needed to drive them remain out of reach for most.
