Most people are aware of the shortages in components; particularly high speed RAM; caused by the demands of AI companies. I think a smaller number of people are aware of basic raw material supply issues also being caused by the same. FR4 - the material PCBs are made from is reportedly in shortened supply, leading to less CCL (copper clad laminate). This hits EVERYONE who makes electronics. Some reports show a monthly supply gap of 8 million square metres of this stuff.
