Nobody wants to install your stupid app. Have a functional website instead.

@anatudor@mastodon.social I thought that, too. But as we developed a special newssite for young people we discovered that the vast majority in the survey wanted an app, not a webpage or a installable webpage. I don't understand it until today but it must be a generational thing. As I am in the mid 50s I am too far away from the kids to understand it.

@anatudor@mastodon.social considering how strictly Apple enforces privacy and how many users opt for “do not track me” when prompted by a newly downloaded app, I am surprised that companies are still pursuing an “app-centric user experience”.
