@bagder@mastodon.social Has your opinion shifted around just the security-focused tools, or do you feel the code generation tools also have some merit now? I can see the argument for the security side simply because vulnerabilities exist regardless of how they are found and need fixed no matter what, but imo the code generation side carries a hefty cost of deskilling and dependence if a programmer relies on it too heavily. Interested in your thoughts Daniel!

@bagder@mastodon.social id be quite curious how the score here was determined; the linkedin post itself doesn't say anyone have an insight? especially because the scales seem to be contradicting? (left says pro anti ai | right says about quality of bug reports)
