I tried something that should've done earlier, even the issue remains. I removed the CMOS battery for few minutes, which when I plugged the power cable back in, caused the fuse to fall. No graphics card or drives were on board. At least this gave us a stronger indication that it may be indeed a power supply issue. We try to find a PSU of sufficient watts to test it.

We did some online research on the motherboard, and there have been reports about the same issue as mine, random freezes, while everything works fine. Someone said that it's a VRAM issue not being supplied with proper power. As we already checked everything else, even with bare minimum and different hardware components, it looks like it may indeed be a motherboard issue, meaning that we have to look for a new one...
