this morning I regretted that I had started to use my TCR dotwatching insta account also for following the "pro israel" conglomerate of gay rightwingers, ex-leftists, neoliberal "defend our democracy" types etc. they don't let us define as queers what antiqueer violence is. They want to tell us what it is. They are appropriating the discourse, waving their rightwing party flags at our mourning ceremonies and tell us in the most ableist terms that we have a mental illness if we don't follow their shameless instrumentalization of the event for their agenda. We don't let them. We show up. We stand together with our Muslim queer siblings. We are trolling their appropriation vigils. But the insults and devaluation that's directed at us, from so called protectors of queer rights, is another level. We are getting used to this level as german society moves right. and I hate it.

I listened to a podcast with Eva Redecker who said that the new fascism works with the principle of "Phantombesitz" (like, "phantom posession") DuckDuck search result -> "This term refers to the idea of defending something as one's own that one does not actually possess or that has never truly belonged to them." But that's what the right is doing: defending "our women" "our Jews" and now "our queers" and not only deriving the right to speak in our name from the idea of phantom posession, but also the right to rule over us, and to control our lives, and to commit systemic violence against us. Systemic violence against us is okay, because they are our owners, who "protect us". much patriarchy. We are in an abusive heteronormative relationship with our right wing government.
