I said this before and I'll say it again.
If an alien species came to earth to save us, it would look a lot like in the movies where they try to wipe us out:
First they'd destroy big parts of our digital- and energy- infrastructure and all of our military infrastructure.
The difference: If they tried to save us, they'd be done then. They'd leave us with no AI data centers, no fossil energy infrastructure and no military.
Oh what a wonderful world it would be.
