Awake since 4am (currently 4:40) hearing heavy rains & thunder. We're a little over sensitive to them lately around here due to flooding issues that hit several west end neighbourhoods.
No issues so far but I see warnings of 50 - 100 mm possible from this system. Ugh.
A little early for another 100yr storm just three weeks or so after the last one?

Hmm, that EnviroCan 50-100mm rainfall warning is strangely for _tonight_ and wasn't actually for the rain event early this morning during which they issued it. They were too busy warning for a big rainfall to manage to warn us about the other big rainfall. #Ottawa
