Observe bug.Fix bug.Spend a while wondering why the fix isn’t working.Try a different fix.Spend longer wondering why that fix isn’t working either.Add some extra logging statements.Wonder why the logs aren’t showing up.Slowly realise that you have not been testing any of the versions that include the changes.
Not that I would ever do this, of course.
