I mean, it is literally ridiculous. I turn down and pass by nice sets of chairs weekly. I see chairs on the curb. Someone, on Craigslist 2 days ago, was paying anyone $15 to take his chair.
I have a rocking chair, a firm wooden kitchen chair, a bar stool with back rest, a papasan for the balcony across from my morning tea sitting chair.
I was in Goodwill Sunday and took a picture of 20 chairs they couldn't get rid of.
The population is leveling off, and now we have excess seating.

I am one man, outnumbered by the 9 nicest chairs I have ever owned. One stool will be turned into a table, as soon as I can sand it flat. As the population boom inverts there are more people downsizing or passing on than there are young people to give stuff too. I expect we will see extremes - property, cars, RVs, given away. Resellers flooded with stuff. Boomers and GenX running out of relatives to give hand me downs too. But remember, I called it first, and it started with chairs.
