youtube recommended me a video of a guy complaining AAA games are too long and a slog and it felt like a relief to be finished with one and like dude, don't play them then. who told you you had to?
you don't have to give Sony 70 dollars every few weeks. you are actually free to spend your money and time as you wish

imagine someone saying 'this 900 page novel was a miserable slog and I'm so relieved it's over' and then revealing they don't attend school, don't review books and nobody recommended it personally you could've just stopped. you gave yourself detention homework

@Taweret@timeloop.cafe I get that what you're complaining about here has a lot to do with people who make "content", and the attendant pissing and moaning this implies but as someone who does often feel like games are a slog, I don't really know which ones are gonna feel like that *before* I buy them
