@prism@infosec.exchange @technocounselor@caneandable.social you think that is bad, try typing on the onscreen keyboard! talkback takes so long to go between letters, it isn't even remotely phoney! I did a podcvast on the google tv streamer, and that part didn't impress me at all. if talkback was that slow on a phone, I can't think of anyone that would get an android. I know it is talkback that is slow, as you can hear when you switch to another letter, and how long it takes talkback to to respond.

@JamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.me @technocounselor@caneandable.social They haven't released a new version for the TV in a few years, I assume that has something to do with it. I find myself mostly using the TV without TalkBack on at all. Most of the TV apps bypass it anyway and it's faster to open an app from voice than it is by finding it in the stupid launcher.
