If it seems like autistic people tend to make a big deal about being autistic... well, mostly that's just because if we don't people will just assume we're 'just weird', but at least speaking personally if I don't remind myself I'm autistic at least once a week, I'll start beating myself up for struggling with [insert everyday task here] as though I don't literally have "struggles with [insert everyday task here]"-disorder.
