@Aurani@tech.lgbt Literally the company I applied for ends in "SIA" which apparently is the Latvian version of an LLC. They DM me on LinkedIn and send the link to the company that's local to me (in the US). I call them up on Friday because things seem suspicious and the answering machine says "we're closed due to the holiday". (What holiday? It's past July 4th - there's no holidays in sight!) Check the site a day or two later and the site is just the background image, no buttons to click. Now this. How could I possibly trust this company?
