i worked for groupon for a bit, they were pretty big at the time. i remember being so surprised when i saw the site go down regularly. i wasn’t part of the tech team doing site stuff but i was on the hipchat channels with them. they’d do pushes that just broke the site completely. i never understood why people found this acceptable. idk, test better? they should’ve used phoenix and nix 🤭
