@FritzAdalis@infosec.exchange I am running the absolute most recent Win11 image from Microsoft, because I didn't bother to save any of my old ISOs. Could you be installing from an earlier build with less aggressive copilot integration? I'm assuming this 52GB minimum disk demand has to do with Copilot.

@nuintari@mastodon.bsd.cafe @FritzAdalis@infosec.exchange I'm sure Copilot makes it worse, but I never install on less than 64GB any more. The OS will still fit in 32, but usually can't fit a feature upgrade alongside that. Granted, completely different for your use case, because you'll demolish this as soon as you're done, but I'm just glad to hear MS is making it harder to deploy doomed-from-day-1 installs.
