Like we’re tolerated. We’re appreciated as like… comedy or teachers or sex objects. As something.
But we are fundamentally not seen as people in the same way. Like as soon as we step out of line in the slightest, the attacks come.

And whole-ass discussions will happen about white people as is other people do not even exist. Like the foundational structure of the discussion will be centered in whiteness and even pointing that out is a threat. Like don’t get uppity. It’s just so dark.
