Thoughts on mountains on #mountainmonday. I wanted to hike the Monte Pelmo, today, after being forced to give up, last week. I had to cancel again. The extreme heat is melting the permafrost and the mountain is literally crumbling. It's not safe, now. Another consequence of climate change that breaks my heart.
