I'm back from the GP. Sent an online form to the #NHS surgery at 08:50 today, at 09:20 I got a text with an appointment at 10:30. Went in to see the GP at 10:20. Can't fault that. He was absolutely convinced that the low mood I've been experiencing, alongside the occasional nightmares, and slightly odd behaviour, are all due to the Finesteride I was prescribed for my enlarged prostate. He implied that I shouldn't have been prescribed it because of my history of depression. He agreed that I'm right to stop taking it, but the mood issues may not resolve quickly. I'm waiting for a referral to a Urologist now. Result! #Finesteride #BPH #MentalHealth #Depression
