@aegir@toot.wales Damp, yes. Cooler, yes. In the much deeper cuts, 20 minutes before this photo, much of the towpath was muddy. The walls of the cut are stone, there. Given the drought, where was that water coming from, I wonder? Was it being released by the earth, after 1½ months of dry weather?
