@cwebber@social.coop I hope everyone will forgive me for stating this, since it's probably obvious to most: Before the Claude rewrite, bun.js was almost 1300 Zig files and 700k lines of Zig code. A fast rewrite in any other language for a million dollars is a colossal technological achievement. But only if it works, and only if that's the actual cost. In this case, it looks like neither.
