If you use a #web browser other than Apple Safari, there's an awesome #privacy preserving extension you can install called Privacy Badger. It's an excellent free tool that stops advertisers and other third-party trackers: If an advertiser seems to be tracking you across multiple websites without your permission, Privacy Badger automatically blocks that advertiser from loading any more content in your browser. To the advertiser, it’s like you suddenly disappeared. This isn't strictly an ad blocker. It helps preserve your online privacy. It's the first extension I install when I'm setting up a new browser, either for myself or a friend.
