@ewen@social.ewenbell.com I use some vintage MF lenses with my Fuji XE3 for street photos - mainly abstract, textural or just still scenes - with red focus peaking engaged, so there's a pleasure that's both tactile and visual in seeing the focal range sweep backwards and forwards over the scene until it's where I want it to be. For moving subjects, forget it, but for scenes where I can take my time it greatly enhances my sense of involvement in the creative process.

@StevenLawsonPhotography@mastoart.social Yes the focus peaking and sweeping through the focus distance is very effective. I expect a lot of people are drawn to the character of older lenses, but I wonder in what ways it changes your brain, and changes how you think about composition?
