Just harvested some silverbeet for tonight's risotto. I grew this from the clean cut base of a store bought plant. Although this is not the first time I've grown something from a rootless base, it still astounds me that what looks like the final cut in a plant's life can just be the beginning of a new plant. Isn't nature amazing?! #gardening
