Just a quick wrapup post for this weeks #monsterdon- Thanks as always to @Taweret@timeloop.cafe for running the shindig, @JoeWynne@mstdn.plus for keeping the drinks and trivia flowing and everyone who contributes to the weekly snark and trivia fest for all things monster. This week's experiment was a double feature in classic schlock, we saw "Beginning of the End" and "The Unearthly", two mst3k favorites. We all witnessed: - Bug Bunnies. No, you read that right the first time. - The most Chicago of solutions, take a machine gun to it. - Sherman Tanks, dragged through the garden. - An overall good? movie except for the sound editor who I understand is in purgatory listening to his own handiwork on loop. - Tor Johnson stealing the show in the followup movie, as he is wont to do. - Mme Marie Coogie, who they all thought was mad. - David Carradine's dad mispronouncing all sorts of things (see above) - Pony Girls, but only for Tor! G'Night all, I'll be catching up with the tootstream for forever, as always XD
