@newsgoth@infosec.exchange I buy zucchini when it's small enough to be tolerable because my vegetable compatibility list is very limited and I can just about get down tasteless steamed young zucchini (sliced into discs) with some salt and pepper. Asparagus is out of season now, I get bored with broccoli and spinach, and sometimes either or both is either unavailable or bolted. It would be great if I could tolerate something else that can be cooked in 5 minutes and doesn't rot the second you get it home.

@wollman@mastodon.social Well, OK. I'm not criticizing anyone for eating zucchini, I just don't like it. There are worse things. Don't get me started about melons, which just about every hotel breakfast buffet uses in place of real fruit such as berries.
