I spent a good bit of last week visiting the "Pennsylvania Dutch" Amish area of PA here in the US. I have to admit, avoiding technology, having a smaller carbon footprint, and living more simply has its attractions. I wish you all luck in finding the balance that works for you.

@bsdtv@mastodon.bsd.cafe Good idea. I think that visiting people that live that way is extremely instructive and helps to reconsider many of our choices. For us, tech people, it may sound strange. But especially because we're tech people, we're fascinated by a tech-less (or just with less tech) world.
