@bsdtv@mastodon.bsd.cafe Good idea. I think that visiting people that live that way is extremely instructive and helps to reconsider many of our choices.
For us, tech people, it may sound strange. But especially because we're tech people, we're fascinated by a tech-less (or just with less tech) world.

@stefano@mastodon.bsd.cafe believe me when I say there isn't a single day I don't think about saying fsck it all, grabbing my engineer's hammer, and walking over to join them fixing agricultural implements. Simple, heavy, mechanical objects. If it moves when it shouldn't, hit it with the hammer. If it should move but doesn't or squeaks, add some oil and then hit it with the hammer.
