@stefano@mastodon.bsd.cafe believe me when I say there isn't a single day I don't think about saying fsck it all, grabbing my engineer's hammer, and walking over to join them fixing agricultural implements.
Simple, heavy, mechanical objects. If it moves when it shouldn't, hit it with the hammer. If it should move but doesn't or squeaks, add some oil and then hit it with the hammer. When all is well put a horse in front of it.
