They *did* successfully seize the phone (the physical device) though 🤔 Notoriously (in privacy-related cases) you don't have property rights over your data, it's not a commodity. If the government can claim this is property, can I now sue data brokers for stealing/possessing my property? I am not a lawyer, obviously.
