@VickForcella@mastodon.derg.nz imho it's can be either, or both, depending on what's needed. There's nothing wrong with celebrating pride, it is something to be celebrated. But we should also never forget that the protest and riot part of it made the celebration possible, and that we are able to make pride a riot again if the situation demands it.
