Come on, Fedizens, use ALT text and CamelCase. Please. Folks here should be able to use the site as freely as you. #Disability #Ableism

@ruemaleficent@kolektiva.social I already try hard to give every image an descriptive ALT text. I found the following reason for CamelCase I wasn't aware of: 'suggestion: hashtags are important here. please use “Camel Case” so screen readers understand what the words are and can pronounce them properly.' -- https://gdevops.frama.io/web/fediverse/applis/mastodon/tips/camel_case/camel_case.html Also kudos to @morst@toad.social for pointing in the right direction. 🙏 #TodayILearned

@ruemaleficent@kolektiva.social I love me some #AltText, and I use #CamelCase for file names on my home computer, but I'm curious what it's good for here in the #Fediverse? I might guess it's for making #HashTags more intelligible?
