do I know anyone who has used RSSI from BTLE or WiFi APs as an ad-hoc positioning system? i.e. your device knows where N different beacons are in space, and figures out roughly where it is by extrapolating from their RSSIs. would love to chat about it and get some idea of how good the reliability and spatial resolution is, especially in crowds. (should go without saying, but I'm asking for the purposes of interactive art and not creepy surveillance)
