Sometimes luck is just... information you didn't have (or were unable to acknowledge) at some point in time finally reaching you. I made a mistake trying to take an old acquaintance into my confidence. In the process that person revealed their true colours to me. At the time of my life's business with this person (not a romantic partner, so not that far in) I was engaging in suspension of disbelief because of situation. Now the chickens came home to roost. #shitcanned
